Lacetex Screens

Lacetex is a combination of lace and latex. The fabrication of the two mediums together creates a translucent and detailed material which changes apperance in varying light.

The latex in the screens provides great flexability and movement within the material which in addition to it's tactile feel makes it incredibly versatile.

The varying degrees of pigmentation surrounding the lace, adds to the refraction of light and patterns of shadows cast. The screens react to natural light in different ways at different times of the day, depending on their positioning and angle, whilst also providing a diffused element of privacy.

In the environment shown the simulation of light within the screens has been moderated to emphsise their morphing qualities.
